Care guide / Question worksheet

Put the claim beside its source.

Ask for the source, then ask which part of your question it answers. Keep the unanswered part on your list.

If this is where you are

You have read a promise about stamina or recovery. A study is mentioned, but you cannot tell what it measured or whether it applies to the proposed product.

Ask what the study actually tested

Ask for the study behind the claim. Write down its title and what the people in it were trying to improve. Was the work in people, in animals or in cells in a lab?

Then ask about the result in ordinary words. Was endurance measured? What changed, compared with what? How close were the people studied to the people being offered care?

The US agency that reviews medicines is the Food and Drug Administration, or FDA.

The FDA had not checked made-to-order medicines for safety, how well they worked or quality before sale as of September 26, 2026.

FDA / Review of made-to-order medicines

Ask whether the evidence offered describes the actual product you would receive, rather than another product with the same ingredient name.

A problem report tells the FDA that someone had a problem after taking a medicine. The report alone cannot prove the medicine caused it. It also cannot show how often that problem happens.

If you compete, check the sport rules too

WADA is the World Anti-Doping Agency, which publishes rules used in sport. Anti-doping rules say which substances a sport bans. Ask which rule body and list apply to your event.

Under the WADA rules in force as of September 26, 2026, BPC-157 was banned during competition and outside it.

WADA / The list used for these sport checks

The WADA list in force at that September 2026 check also banned TB-500, ipamorelin and sermorelin at all times.

WADA / Other substances banned at all times

As checked on September 26, 2026, WADA had published its next list, which takes effect on January 1, 2027.

WADA / The next list and its start date

The NCAA is the US college sports association.

For college athletes, the NCAA’s 2026–27 rules ban a group of substances that includes BPC-157 and TB-500. These are examples, not the full list.

NCAA / College sport has its own list

Keep your sport question separate from your care question. Ask the body that sets your rules for a written answer about the exact substance.

My claim-and-source card

Put the claim and its source next to each other. A question left open is useful to take back to the discussion.
